Narrow band light is used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and vitiligo. Narrow band UVB refers to a specific wavelength of ultraviolet (UV) radiation (specifically 311 to 312 nm). This range has proven to be the most beneficial component of natural sunlight for many inflammatory conditions. Patients usually go in for treatment from two to five times a week, depending on the individual case.
